A man jumped to his death from the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Phoenix on Monday night, authorities said.

PHOENIX – A man jumped to his death from the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Phoenix on Monday night, authorities said.
The man, whose name and age were not released, climbed onto a freeway retaining wall above the area of 52nd and Van Buren streets, near the Tovrea Castle at Carraro Heights, around 6 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
After several hours of negotiations, he jumped to the roadway below, suffering serious injuries, police said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The westbound Loop 202 was closed at Sky Harbor Boulevard while authorities were negotiating with the man.
Traffic in the area was back to normal by early Tuesday, authorities said.

Perhaps I’m just a flawed human, having a manipulative mother who “tried” to commit suicide many times but was never successful. Go through that a few times and see if it impacts your willingness to be inconvenienced..
I support a person’s right to choose their own destiny. But I don’t support their right to inconvenience others in the process.
Na..don't be so hard on yourself. Its easy to be "sensitive" to things that had good or bad impacts during growing up periods.
