When police arrived on scene, they reportedly found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said that the man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, but has since been stabilized and is still receiving treatment.

According to Phoenix police, officers saw a juvenile boy running from the scene.

Police said that officers took the boy into custody, using less lethal tools, a short while later and that the boy was found to have a gun on him at the time.

However, detectives reportedly determined that the boy was not the shooter and that a second suspect was still at large.

The boy was sent to the Juvenile Court Center for a weapons violation, according to Phoenix police.

Police stated that detectives are following leads in order to locate and arrest the second suspect.
