Locksmith who worked for Scottsdale school district accused of sex crimes

PHOENIX — A West Valley man who worked as a locksmith for Scottsdale Unified School District has been arrested on various sex crime charges, authorities announced Tuesday.

Dominick Le Beau was arrested on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, three counts of possessing child sex dolls and one count of child endangerment, according to the Peoria Police Department.

What started investigation against Scottsdale school locksmith?

Police began investigating Le Beau in October 2024 after receiving a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The 22-year-old Peoria man allegedly possessed and traded child sexual abuse material, police said.

Le Beau was taken into custody without incident on Monday.

No further details were released.

Police said charges may be added or amended as this is an ongoing investigation.
