KTAR News’ top tweets by month of 2016

PHOENIX — It can be hard to remember everything that happened in a given year.

From major events and politics to celebrity deaths and breaking news, 2016 will surely be one of the most difficult to remember so far.

To help you fully recap 2016 at this year’s New Year’s Eve party, we went through our Twitter timeline and found the one with the most retweets and favorites for each month of the year. The idea was to showcase a few more local stories than Twitter included in its own year-end recap.

Scroll through the tweets below to see what you were talking, reading and tweeting about each month in 2016. And if you’re not doing so already, follow KTAR News 92.3 FM on Twitter.
