Burnin’ Up: Jonas Brothers returning to Phoenix during tour celebrating 20 years of music

PHOENIX — The Jonas Brothers have “Vacation Eyes” this year, and they’ll fill concert arenas around the nation with various songs from their over two decades of making music.

On Sunday they revealed details about their upcoming “Jonas20: Living the Dream” tour, which includes a Sept. 28 stop at PHX Arena (formerly Footprint Center). (UPDATE: The concert has been rescheduled to Sept. 29. Read why here.)

“We’re beyond excited to hit the road and celebrate 20 years of music,” the Jonas Brothers said in the news release.

Boys Like Girls, another pop band popular in the early aughts, will open for them in Phoenix.

Fans can sign up for the artist presale now through Wednesday at 7 a.m. Arizona Time. This presale will run Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. local time.

The general sale begins on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

The Jonas Brothers will return to the home of the Phoenix Suns for the first time since performing there on Sept. 6, 2023.

That wasn’t their last Valley appearance, however. They took the stage during the March Madness Music Festival on April 6, 2024, at Hance Park in Phoenix.

“Our fans have been with us through every chapter,” the Jonas Brothers said in the release. “This tour is our way of honoring them, the memories we’ve made and the ones we’ll create together. We can’t wait to make this our biggest, most unforgettable tour yet.”

What else is new for the Jonas Brothers this year?

This year’s tour is one of many big moves from the former boy band. They’re also releasing a live album on June 13, which will document one of their two 2024 concerts in London.

Additionally, their new album, “Greetings from Your Hometown,” will drop Aug. 8.

One of the brothers, Joe Jonas, will release his second solo album, “Music For People Who Believe in Love,” on May 23.

They’re also going to release a Disney+ holiday musical called “A Very Jonas Christmas” at an undisclosed date later this year. The film will involve the brothers trying to travel from London to New York to spend Christmas with their families.
