Infant transported to Valley hospital after near drowning

A toddler was rushed to the hospital after she was pulled from a pool near 73rd Avenue and Bethany Home on Friday.

Glendale Fire’s Michael Young said the girl was in her backyard pool.

“She did have some shallow respirations on her own, but she is still in critical condition at this time,” he said.

It’s still unknown how long the girl was under water.
