PHOENIX — Four people were hospitalized, including an infant, after a three-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Thursday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to a collision call near 39th Avenue and Camelback Road around 7:45 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
One of the vehicles was on fire after the crash. Phoenix Fire Department personnel extinguished the flames.
First responders provided aid to three men and a young child before the patients were taken to a hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
One man and the infant had life-threatening injuries. The other two men were hospitalized with injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening, police said.
Roads in the area were restricted for several hours while the scene was under investigation.
