Growing cosmetics company moving to new Chandler headquarters

PHOENIX – A growing East Valley cosmetics company has reached a deal for a new home base in Chandler.

VB Cosmetics has leased 40,000 square feet to house its corporate headquarters, research and development and manufacturing operations, the city said Monday in a press release.

The 13-year-old company aims to move into the Lotus Project development near Kyrene Road and Loop 202 by April 2021.

The new site is about 3 miles west of VB Cosmetics’ current location. It will allow the company to increase production and staffing, with plans to go from 50 to 120 employees in the next three years.

“It was important for us to not only keep the company growing here in Arizona, but specifically in Chandler where it all started,” company founder Dr. Vivian Valenty said in the release.

“The city is most welcoming and where we have so many personal roots.”

VB Cosmetics creates and sells cosmetics and personal care products, including a quick-drying nail polish called Dazzle Dry.

“VB Cosmetics is in a premier location for continued growth and success,” Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke said in the release.

“We are thrilled they found a new home in Chandler that will allow them to take their innovative cosmetics enterprise to the next level.”

The Lotus Project, a complex of four Class A industrial buildings, is 95% full with the addition of the VB Cosmetics. A second phase with three more buildings is in the works.
