PHOENIX — Global tech company Viavi Solutions has leased a 15,000-square-foot space in Chandler for its corporate headquarters.
The company will pair its headquarters, located near Dobson and Willis roads, with its 104,000-square-foot manufacturing facility also in the East Valley city.
Viavi originally planned to have the headquarters at the manufacturing facility but determined it needed more space.
“This new office is located in a beautiful, modern area and provides additional space for us to expand in Chandler,” Petra Nagel, a Viavi spokeswoman, said in a press release.
“It has been a pleasure working with Chandler’s Economic Development team as we build out our manufacturing and continue adding executive leadership positions in Arizona.”
Viavi has had its corporate offices in a temporary space in Scottsdale.
The headquarters and manufacturing operation are expected to bring in a combined 230 jobs.
The company supplies network testing and technology used in anticounterfeiting applications, consumer electronics and the aerospace industry.
“We are excited about this office lease and expect that Viavi will continue to expand within Chandler in the years ahead,” Mayor Kevin Hartke said in the release. “Viavi is a world-class advanced manufacturer that is a great fit for Chandler’s highly educated workforce.
“We appreciate the company’s investment and the high-paying jobs they are bringing to our community.”
