SAFE Alert canceled for missing 69-year-old man last seen in Gilbert

PHOENIX — About an hour after issuing a SAFE Alert for 69-year-old Francisco Orozco, authorities cancelled it.

When the alert was issued, he was last seen near Ocotillo Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as the way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
