Unidentified female apparently fell 80 feet to her death in northwestern Arizona

PHOENIX – Authorities are asking the public for help identifying the body of a female who apparently fell to her death off a cliff in far northwest Arizona.

Human remains were discovered on May 9 at the bottom of an 80-foot cliff in the Beaver Dam area, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

The decomposed body was located approximately 4 miles south of the TA Express Travel Center in Beaver Dam and 1 mile west of Interstate 15, about 10 miles from both the Utah and Nevada state lines.

It appears the body had been at the site for several weeks before being discovered.

Is there a description of female who fell to her death?

The only physical description of the female, due to decomposition, was that she had shoulder-length black hair.

Additionally, authorities said she was wearing or in possession of the following clothing items when she fell to her death:

• Grey White Fable sweatpants, size medium.
• Black Vegas Golden Knights knit cap.
• White and blue Nautica tennis shoes, size 10, with no laces.
• Black Twisted Soul sweatpants, size large.
• Red long-sleeved Southern Utah Basketball Adidas T-shirt, size large.
• Black H&M T-shirt, size extra large.

Anybody with information that could help authorities identify the body is asked to call the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 928-753-2141.
