Man dead, suspect at large after hit-and-run in Phoenix
A man is dead after a hit-and-run collision in Phoenix on Sunday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

PHOENIX — A man is dead after a hit-and-run collision in Phoenix on Sunday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to the scene of the crash at 27th and Northern avenues around 8:30 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
They found the man, whose name has not been released, with serious injuries.
The Phoenix Fire Department responded to bring the man to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.
Detectives said that preliminary information indicated the crash occurred while the man was crossing Northern Avenue mid-block.
They believe a vehicle heading westbound on Northern Avenue struck him before reportedly driving away.
No further details were made available as this is an ongoing investigation.
