Elizabeth Warren to host town hall in Mesa on Saturday

PHOENIX — A day after Bernie Sanders announced a Valley campaign stop, another Democratic presidential candidate is coming to town.

Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday announced she will host a town hall at the Mesa Amphitheatre on Saturday.

(UPDATE: Warren ended her campaign Thursday.)

Doors at the venue, located at 263 N. Center Street, will open at 9:30 a.m. and the town hall will begin at 11:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Tickets aren’t required but an RSVP is strongly encouraged.

Admission is first-come, first-served.

Fellow candidate Bernie Sanders on Monday announced his first Valley stop of the campaign season. Sanders is coming to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Thursday.

Warren and Sanders are two of the five remaining Democratic presidential candidates left ahead of Super Tuesday.

The town hall comes before the Democrats have a planned debate in Phoenix on March 15, two days before the party’s presidential preference election in the state.
