PHOENIX – The huge party Decadence Arizona returns Thursday for two days of electronic dance music featuring deejays Marshmello and Diesel – aka basketball Hall of Fame’s Shaquille O’Neal – among the many artists.

The seventh annual festival will blast sound and light over three stages at Rawhide Event Center in Chandler.

Promoters Relentless Beats and Global Dance called the Valley event “one of the country’s hardest-hitting New Year’s lineups” in a press release and added fans would be “immersed in next-level production.”

The festival is open to those 18 and older.

Two-day general admission is $199, plus service fees; there are two versions of a festival-long VIP pass: standard, which, in addition to general admission, includes express entry, access to a special lounge and front-row viewing at $469, plus fees; and a two-day platinum VIP pass is available to attendees 21 and over for $999, plus fees. That price tag includes the festival’s standard VIP amenities, and side-stage viewing, access to the artists’ hospitality lounge, complimentary drinks, fine dining and a gift bag.

Shuttles will leave from Arizona State University’s parking Lot 59 North for the ride to the event site starting at 5 p.m. both evenings and then every half-hour after that. Last pickup is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. Rides from the Rawhide Center will run at 1:30 a.m., 2 a.m. and 3:15 a.m.

A two-day shuttle pass costs $60 plus a service fee; a single-day pass is $32.50 plus a fee.

Opening night’s lineup will put Alesso, Alison Wonderland, Bijou, Chris Lake, DJ Snake, Gem & Tauri, Kaskade, Madeon, Martin Ikin, Nora En Pure, Purple Disco Machine and Seven Lions onstage.

New Year’s Eve artists on Friday include Alan Walker, Destructo, Diesel, Dillon Francis, Fisher, Gordo, Lost Kings, Loud Luxury, Marshmello, Sonny Fodera and Animate.

More details are posted at the Decadence Arizona website.
