PHOENIX — Another pickleball experience is making its way to the Valley.

Electric Pickle is gearing up to make its nationwide debut in Tempe on Dec. 16, bringing a combination of pickleball, dining and outdoor entertainment.

Located near Interstate 10 and Warner Road, just south of IKEA, Electric Pickle will feature nine state-of-the-art pickleball courts — four of which that will have first-of-its-kind AI technology — equipped with private cabanas for premium service along with a a 12,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant.

“Pickleball has taken this country by storm, and with Electric Pickle, we’re aiming to further elevate the experience,” said Paul Frederick, founder and co-CEO of Electric Pickle. “We’re blending our love for the fast-paced, action-packed game with our passion for delivering upscale culinary offerings in a vibrant and social atmosphere.”

What amenities will Electric Pickle offer?

The 4.5-acre venue will feature an inviting environment where guests can play, dine and socialize.

Electric Pickle’s signature restaurant will feature inventive cocktails and dishes such as the Sticky Short Ribs, garlic noodles & shrimp, truffle bacon mashed potato pizza and desserts like the 4-layer carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and chopped walnuts.

In addition to pickleball and fine dining, the venue will offer bocce ball courts, Full Swing Golf Simulators, ping pong tables and a lawn that’ll feature cornhole and a live-music stage.

Electric Pickle will hire 150 employees in early November. In addition to Tempe, Electric Pickle has plans to expand with soon-to-open locations in Las Vegas, Nevada; Roseville, California; Katy, Texas; Rancho Cucamonga, California; and Reno, Nevada.
