Fledgling East Valley church signs lease for new headquarters at Mesa business center

PHOENIX — A fledgling East Valley church recently signed a long-term lease for a new headquarters.

Echoes Church plans to use the 10,660-square-foot space at Mountain Vista Business Center in Mesa for weekday ministry as well as offices for staff and leadership.

“Our Sunday gatherings are currently too large to fit into this new leased space,” Joshua Paul, the church’s executive pastor, told KTAR News 92.3 FM in an email.

Echoes Headquarters, as it will be known, is located 10153 E. Hampton Ave., just east of the Home Depot near Crismon Road and US 60.

Chad Shipley with CRE8 represented Echoes Church in the lease deal. NAI Horizon’s Church Realty Solutions practice represented the landlord, Tempe-based Superstition Development LLC.

Where does Echoes Church hold Sunday services?

Echoes Church will continue holding its recently launched Sunday services at Desert Ridge High School, about 2 miles away.

“This new building will allow us to start meeting the needs of our people throughout the week,” Paul said.

Echoes Church holds three services at the high school every Sunday, at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Over 2,700 people attending the grand opening there on Jan. 26, and the services continue to draw over 2,000 congregants each week, Paul said.

“God has brought a mass amount of people into this new faith community, far quicker than we could have imagined or prepared for, but what’s more important to us than just the quantifiable number of people is the life change that actually takes place within these people and their families and circles of influence,” Paul said.
