2 pedestrians seriously injured after struck by car in central Phoenix

PHOENIX — Three people were seriously injured on Friday night after a car struck two pedestrians in central Phoenix, according to authorities.

Firefighters were called out to the area of 7th Avenue and Camelback Road after two people were hit by a car, according to Phoenix fire officials.

There was a total of three people taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, according to authorities.

Two women were in critical condition with one being in extremely critical condition. Additionally, a man was also taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.

The investigation was turned over to the Phoenix Police Department.
