Cannon Beach to host block party for grand opening in Mesa

PHOENIX — A free, family-friendly block party to celebrate the grand opening of Cannon Beach in Mesa will be held on Oct. 11.

The event will showcase a lineup of musicians, local food vendors, a petting zoo, costume contest and a foam truck.

“We’re excited to welcome the community to Cannon Beach and celebrate the beginning of something truly special,” Owner Cole Cannon said in a release.

“This block party is a chance for families, friends and neighbors to come together and experience the fun, creativity and connection that Cannon Beach is all about.”

Parking is available at the park and attendees are encouraged to show up early.

The block party runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What is Cannon Beach?

Cannon Beach is a 40-acre, multi-use real estate development with a variety of water-focused adventure opportunities.

A surf lagoon called REVEL Surf, wave pool, cliff jumping area, indoor action sports center and a variety of retail and dining options are available to visitors of the park.

It is located near the intersection of Power and Warner roads, northwest of the Mesa Gateway Airport.
