PHOENIX — It’s the time of year for holiday displays, and Tempe Marketplace’s take on shiny lights and festive exhibits is ready to be unveiled.

The shopping center’s Candy Cane Lane display will open Friday and run until Jan. 1.

The display features more than 100 pieces of art, including oversized lollipops, gumdrops and gingerbread men, according to a press release.

New this year is a giant gumball machine that blows around plastic balls.

On Christmas Eve, snow will fall every hour from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The display is free to view and is located outside of Dave and Buster’s.
