Call Me Maybe? Carly Rae Jepsen coming to Phoenix this August

PHOENIX – Carly Rae Jepsen announced Monday that she will be coming to the Van Buren in Phoenix on Aug. 6.

Pre-sale tickets for the Dedicated Tour are available Tuesday at 10 a.m., and tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m.

The pop star’s 36-city tour will start in Sweden on May 23 and end in Los Angeles on Aug. 10.

Through a partnership with PLUS1, $1 from every ticket sold will support the Crisis Text Line, according to the Van Buren website.

PLUS1 is a nonprofit organization that works with musicians to drive social change.

The tour follows the announcement of Jepsen’s fourth album “Dedicated,” which will be released May 17.

Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian-born artist who has been making music since 2008.

Some of her hit singles include “Call Me Maybe” and “Good Time,” a duet with Owl City.

According to the singer, those who pre-order the album get early access to tour tickets.
