Even though it’s a surprise sometimes, it’s nice to find that you enjoy the personality of an interview subject — and that was the case with my guest this week on the AZ Political Podcast: Arizona’s Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes.

While I’m sure some people would assume that liking someone means that I only asked them softball questions, that definitely wasn’t the case with Mayes.

I asked her whether the 13 different lawsuits (!) targeting the Trump administration that she’s a part of are the best use of the AG’s resources.

We talked about how her governing style and approach to Donald Trump differs from fellow Democrat Katie Hobbs — knowing full well that the governor doesn’t do much to stand in the president’s way and Mayes seems to always be whacking the hornet’s nest.

What other subjects does Kris Mayes discuss on AZ Political Podcast?

We discussed how she’s going about punishing people and recovering some of the $2.5 billion dollars lost in Arizona’s shameful fake rehab/sober living scandal — which not only stole money from taxpayers but also stole the lives of loved ones who got no treatment for their addiction.

I also asked Mayes, a former Republican, what she still finds attractive about her old party and its principles. That’s important to know because it’s finding common ground that leads to good governance.

And finally, being comfortable around Mayes made it possible for me to ask her a very personal question: With all the time she’s taking to sue Trump, is she finding time to eat right, get enough sleep and have some “me time” — whatever that looks like for an attorney general.

I’m certain AG Mayes will stop suing The Regime the moment they stop harming Arizonans with unconstitutional Executive Orders.

Several of Arizona's Representatives are part of the MAGA regime and are gleefully allowing a demented felon to strip Arizonans of their rights and tax dollars in order to further their own careers.
