Authorities searching for suspect in east Phoenix shooting that killed 2

PHOENIX — Two men who were shot and killed in east Phoenix late Thursday night have been identified but the suspected shooter is still on the loose.

The Phoenix Police Department said 22-year-old Delano Mathis and 47-year-old Perry Sueing died at a local hospital after being shot in the area of 25th and Van Buren streets.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police that at least four people shot at each other. There were no descriptions on the other people involved.
