PHOENIX — Detectives arrested a man for murder and armed robbery in a homicide case from last year, authorities said Saturday.
An investigation began in February 2023 following a shooting that killed 18-year-old Jeremiaha Austin near Baseline Road and 16th Street in Phoenix.
After more than 15 months since the investigation began, detectives identified Exzavion Williams, 19, as a suspect and developed probable cause to arrest him.
Williams was booked into jail on Wednesday.
No other information was available.
