Arizona DPS looking for car involved in fatal hit-and-run collision

Arizona state troopers are seeking the public’s help finding a car that may have struck and killed a pedestrian on a Phoenix freeway early Sunday.

PHOENIX – Arizona state troopers are seeking the public’s help finding a car that may have struck and killed a pedestrian on a Phoenix freeway early Sunday.

The fatal hit-and-run collision occurred around 2:50 a.m. on northbound Interstate 17 near the Buckeye Road off-ramp, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Authorities are trying to locate a graphite metallic (gray) 2001-05 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was seen in the area at the time. It could have recent damage on the passenger side.

Anybody with information was asked to call 877-272-8329 or submit an anonymous tip online.
