A 3-year-old boy was taken to a hospital Saturday afternoon following a water rescue incident at a hotel pool near Paradise Valley, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to reports of a possible drowning near 64th Street and Camelback Road around 2:45 p.m., according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Upon arrival, first responders found the toddler out of the water, awake and crying.
It was not immediately clear how long the child was under water before being pulled out.
Paramedics took the boy to a local hospital in stable condition for further evaluation as a precaution.
No additional details were immediately available.
