3 people injured in drive-by shooting in south Phoenix

PHOENIX – Three people were injured in a shooting at a residence in south Phoenix on Thursday night, according to authorities.

Phoenix police responded to a shooting near 16th Street and Broadway just before 8 p.m.

Officers say a dark-colored car drove by a residence where three people were standing outside. The occupant fired a gun at the victims and fled the scene.

Two adult males and one adult female were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
