3 hospitalized after shooting at Phoenix apartment complex, suspect detained

PHOENIX — Three people were taken to a hospital Saturday afternoon following a shooting at a Phoenix apartment complex, authorities said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment near 48th and Culver streets around 12:45 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.

When officers arrived at the complex, they found three adults suffering from gunshot wounds.

Each person had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspect was located several hours after the shooting happened.
