2 teens dead, 1 injured in Ahwatukee shooting

PHOENIX — Two teen males are dead and another was injured after a shooting in Ahwatukee on Saturday.
Phoenix police responded to the shooting near 48th Street and Warner Road shortly after 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he later died due to his injuries.
Two others suffering from gunshot wounds were found at a local fast-food restaurant. Both were taken to the hospital, where one died and the other was treated for “serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.
Authorities later clarified all three people who were shot were juvenile teens.
The investigation remains ongoing.
