2 suspects arrested in connection with fatal Tempe apartment complex shooting

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Tempe apartment complex over the weekend that left a man dead, authorities said.
The Tempe Police Department identified the man who was killed as 24-year-old Tyrone Rios Jr.
Authorities did not identify the suspects who were taken into custody as the investigation is ongoing, but said their names would be released at a later time.
Details on the deadly Tempe apartment complex shooting
On Saturday, officers were called to the area of Center Parkway and Washington Street for reports of gunshots around 2 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Rios Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
It is not clear what led to the fatal incident.

So the shalimar neighborhood thread on Next Door was abuzz with details of two men who robbed a kid playing basketball @ Selleh Park @ gunpoint @ 2:00 a.m. Sunday followed by posted ring door footage of two guys pulling at car door handles up & down the shalimar hood shortly thereafter. As details emerge on the murder suspects apprehended on monday, can you possibly pull on this thread with Tempe PD to see if there's a connection? ( as the teen's mom did file a police report re the hold-up) Please & thank you! I walk my dogs nightly to beat the heat & would appreciate some closure on these possibly related stories.
