A 12-year-old child died Wednesday night after being pulled from an inflatable pool in Peoria, authorities said.

PHOENIX – A 12-year-old child died Wednesday night after being pulled from an inflatable pool in Peoria, authorities said.

The girl initially was reported to be in critical condition, but she died after being rushed to a hospital.

According to ABC15, police said the child had disabilities.

No other details were made available. The investigation is ongoing.
