PHOENIX – Two people were ejected from their vehicle in a rollover crash that killed one on Interstate 17 north of Phoenix.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said in an email that a man was pronounced dead Wednesday near Sunset Point.
A woman was airlifted to a hospital. Her condition was unknown.
The vehicle had been heading south on the freeway around 10:40 p.m. when it reached a left-hand curve. The vehicle went off to the right and rolled across the road before smashing into the rock wall in the median.

The driver and passenger were thrown from the car on impact.
