Coca-Cola opening 3rd Valley distribution center in Mesa
Swire Coca-Cola, the bottler for Coca-Cola and other beverage brands, is set to open its third Valley distribution center in Mesa on Friday.

PHOENIX — Swire Coca-Cola, the bottler for Coca-Cola and other beverage brands, is set to open its third Valley distribution center in Mesa on Friday.
The facility, which is located near Power and Elliot roads, will have its ribbon-cutting from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with Swire Coca-Cola President and CEO Andrea Kendall as well as Mesa Vice Mayor Scott Somers speaking.
The new distribution center is meant to help the company meet the growing demand for the beverages it produces. In addition to Coca-Cola, they include Monster Energy, Powerade, Sprite, Fanta, Smartwater, Gold Peak Tea, Core Power and more.
Swire Coca-Cola also has a manufacturing and distribution facility in Tempe and a distribution facility in Glendale.
The company employs more than 8,000 people to help sell and distribute beverages in 13 states throughout the Western United States. It is headquartered in Draper, Utah.
