Developer signs tenants for Old Town Scottsdale office project

PHOENIX — Phoenix-based developer George Oliver has secured its first leases at an office building project near Scottsdale and Indian School roads.

The company has signed almost 48,000 square feet of leases, marking a major milestone in its effort to transform the three-building campus known as Arbor Old Town.

In a Monday announcement, George Oliver said the campus is being positioned as a luxury office destination, anchored by a significant headquarters relocation from Symmetry Software.

Construction is also underway on 17 suites within the 360,000‑square‑foot Arbor Old Town campus. The move‑in‑ready offices will range from 1,602 to 10,146 square feet.

The first suites at 7272 E. Indian School Road — one of the three buildings on the campus — are expected to be delivered in May.

Why is payroll, HR company moving its HQ to Arbor Old Town?

Symmetry Software is moving its HQ from Northsight in Scottsdale in search of more inspiring surroundings, according to CEO Elizabeth Oviedo.

“We built Symmetry in Scottsdale to be a place where talent and culture thrive, and our new headquarters at Arbor Old Town is the next evolution of that vision,” Oviedo said in the news release.

“This move reflects our commitment to our team, providing an inspiring home that matches the creative and forward-thinking culture we continue to build together.”

It’s one of two tenants slated to move in later this year.

Some of the office building’s features include a café and cocktail bar, a landscaped central courtyard with walking paths, conferencing and collaboration facilities, a game lounge and onsite concierge services.

There’s also a holistic wellness center with a sauna, yoga and meditation rooms and a cold plunge.
