Light showers popped up in portions of the Valley on Saturday as temperatures began to drop.

The National Weather Service reported precipitation late Saturday morning, with reports of small hail in isolated areas.

Portions of the Valley saw measurable rain, including Peoria with 0.08 inches of rain, while Phoenix and Glendale saw 0.04 inches as of 3 p.m.

NWS forecasted a less than 10% chance of rain through the rest of the weekend. Surface wind speeds aren’t expected to exceed three miles per hour during that time frame.

Temperatures are expected to stay in the 70s and low-80s throughout the weekend, but could drop to as low as 59 degrees Sunday morning.
