Teen found with life-threatening injuries in San Tan Valley
Detectives took three boys into custody for questioning, but they were released pending further investigation.

A teen was found in a San Tan Valley roadway with serious injuries on Thursday night, authorities said.
Deputies responded to Murray Grey Drive near Gary Road and Empire Boulevard for welfare check around 11:30 p.m., which is when they found the 16-year-old boy, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
He was airlifted in life-threatening condition to a Valley hospital. PCSO told KTAR News 92.3 FM evidence indicated the boy was hit by a car.
Detectives took three boys into custody for questioning, but they were released pending further investigation.
Authorities noted that the boys knew each other.
