The purchase of 41 other Arizona locations by 7 Brew is still awaiting final approval.

Swig wants a bigger slice of Arizona, and Salad and Go’s bankruptcy is giving it one.
The Utah-based soda chain has agreed to pay about $5.4 million for eight of the Tempe-based chain’s shuttered Arizona restaurants, new court filings show.
That’s part of a $5.9 million offer that also includes stores in Oklahoma and Las Vegas.
The Arizona stores Swig wants are:
- 777 W. Indian School Road, Phoenix
- 3229 S. 48th St., Tempe
- 18573 N. 59th Ave., Glendale
- 17137 N. Litchfield Road, Surprise
- 90 W. Ocotillo Road, Queen Creek
- 125 N. Estrella Parkway, Goodyear
- 17171 W. Yuma Road, Goodyear
- 1730 E. Tucson Marketplace Blvd., Tucson
Swig’s bid comes after a much bigger deal for Salad and Go’s buildings.
Last month, Arkansas-based drive-thru coffee chain 7 Brew was the highest bidder for 73 former Salad and Go sites, including 41 in Arizona, for $143.18 million after Tempe-based Dutch Bros declined to raise its offer.
None of the Arizona stores Swig is bidding on were part of that deal.
Still, Swig could end up with two sites from 7 Brew’s deal.
Under its offer, Swig is next in line for stores at Queen Creek and Gilbert roads in Chandler and Pima Road and Arriba Drive in Scottsdale if the 7 Brew sale falls through on those locations.
The deal would significantly expand Swig’s footprint in the Valley, which is currently at 12 stores.
Salad and Go, which built its business on drive-thru salads, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August. It is selling off its restaurants in groups across Arizona, Texas, Nevada and Oklahoma.
