3 additional suspects arrested in connection with fatal Casa Grande house party shooting

Three more people were arrested in connection with a shooting at a Casa Grande house party that left an 18-year-old man dead over the weekend, authorities announced Wednesday.

Two of the suspects, 16- and 17-year-old boys, turned themselves in on Tuesday, according to the Casa Grande Police Department.

They were booked into the Pinal County Juvenile Detention Facility on multiple charges, including first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, minor in possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm and disorderly conduct with a firearm.

The third, 20-year-old Laron Kelley, turned himself into authorities on Wednesday afternoon. He was booked into jail on charges of first-degree murder, disorderly conduct with a firearm, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

A total of four suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting, as a 16-year-old boy was arrested Sunday after investigators identified a vehicle involved the incident and used automated license plate readers to locate it.

Officers were called to a home near Trekell and Rodeo roads shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired.

They found Joseph Castro outside the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are not looking for anymore suspects in connection with the shooting.
