Charlie Kirk statue vandalized at Turning Point headquarters in Phoenix

A statue to honor Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA’s (TPUSA) headquarters in Phoenix was vandalized overnight Sunday, the company announced.

“Vandalism like this is not funny, it’s diabolical,” Turning Point USA wrote in a social media post. “Beyond spray painting on the neck and face, they made the intentional decision to cross out the name of Jesus on a nearby sign.”

We will restore the statue and replace the signs, but we are also reviewing the footage of the incident and are working with law enforcement to identify who did this and hold them accountable.

The statue was reportedly unveiled on Thursday, the one year anniversary of Kirk’s death.

The nonprofit said it is reviewing security footage and working with law enforcement to identify a suspect.

TPUSA added that the statue will be restored and the signs will be replaced.
