$1,000 for a meal? Scottsdale restaurant offers exclusive dining experience

Belmont Kitchen & Cocktails in north Scottsdale is raising the bar on fine dining with an exclusive — and pricey — new offering from its renowned chef.

The restaurant’s Chef’s Table event is available for one table, with a minimum party size of four, on select dates for $1,000 per guest. And that does not include tips and taxes.

Belmont Kitchen is taking reservations for the first Chef’s Table, which is set for Nov. 7, through OpenTable.

What do you get for $1,000 at Belmont Kitchen in Scottsdale?

The evening, which is billed as a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience, will feature multicourse tasting menus created by acclaimed chef Alex Stratta and his kitchen to match the diners’ personal preferences.

Stratta and his team will also serve specially selected wine pairings and interact with the table throughout the night.

Stratta earned acclaim in the Valley as executive chef at Mary Elaine’s at The Phoenician resort in Scottsdale, where he won the 1998 James Beard Award as the best chef in the American Southwest.

He later earned two Michelin stars for Alex, the restaurant he ran at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel.

Belmont Kitchen opened in early 2025 at Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads.

Belmont Kitchen’s special event may not be for many wallets, but it is not the priciest recent dining experience in the Valley.

In April, Anhelo offered a fully curated night out — including a ride to the Scottsdale restaurant in a chauffeured Rolls-Royce — for $2,500 per couple.
