PHOENIX – A high-end Scottsdale restaurant is taking fine dining to another level with an offering dubbed The Ultimate Night of Indulgence.
If you want to partake in the luxurious and fully curated experience at Anhelo, bring your appetite and your wallet. The price tag is $2,500 per couple.
It starts at home, where a chauffeured Rolls-Royce picks up the guests. The car is stocked with chilled Dom Pérignon and small bites for the ride to the restaurant at 7007 E. First Ave. in Old Town.
Once at Anhelo, patrons aren’t handed a menu. Instead, they feast on a “tasting progression” that the kitchen staff has personalized for each diner. The food is accompanied by paired wines, “rare pours” or craft cocktails.
Before the Rolls-Royce ride home, guests share a final bottle in an intimate setting next to a fireplace or fountain.
“This experience is about removing friction entirely,” Anhelo owner and chef Ivan Jacobo said in a news release. “From the moment the car arrives to the moment you return home, every detail is considered.”
Availability for The Ultimate Night of Indulgence is limited. Call 602-596-7745 for reservations.

''For $2500--on the way home, I'm barfing nasty tasting hors d'oeuvres and warm Dom Perignon all over that chauffeur-driven Rolls!''

How does such a .00001 percenter story play with KTAR's radical mostly broke left wing readers? Where's the protest marches?
That doesn't really seem all that expensive.....a car door to door both ways and a luxury meal with expensive drinks......I'm looking into this further......sounds like FUN!
