Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 74-year-old man who went missing Thursday morning in Phoenix.

Martin Lopez was last seen around 8 a.m. near 25th Avenue and McLellan Boulevard, just south of Glendale Avenue, according to police.

Lopez is described as 5-foot-3 inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a white and gray striped polo and gray shorts.

Police said Lopez suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to become lost or easily confused.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151 or 911.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
