Surprise Police arrested a man on multiple sexual misconduct charges involving a minor Thursday following an extensive investigation, authorities said.
The man, identified as 28-year-old Sameer Mardanzai, was booked into jail on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual conduct with a minor, according to the Surprise Police Department.
However, detectives think there could be additional victims.
During the investigation, police determined Mardanzai was hosting parties attended by minors, which were promoted on social media. At the parties, minors were “allegedly provided drugs and alcohol,” police said.
Mardanzai’s bond is $500,000.
Detectives are working on identifying any other victims. If you or someone you know was victimized, police encourage you to contact your local law enforcement or the Surprise Police.
This is an ongoing investigation.
