Man indicted on murder charge in fatal shooting at Phoenix gas station

A Maricopa County grand jury indicted a man on a second-degree murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting at a Phoenix gas station.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced that Jaheime Brown, 21, was indicted for shooting a man in his car.

On July 18, Julio Osife Diaz was at the Arco gas station at 16th Street and Thomas Road. Brown got into a confrontation with Diaz and others who were in the car with him. Brown shot Diaz, killing him, according to prosecutors.

Brown is being held on a $1 million cash bond.
