A 30-year-old man was arrested by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for social media posts that threatened Sheriff Jerry Sheridan.

MCSO on Thursday cited posts from Jose Angel Valadez’s X page with “direct threats to kill” Sheridan. Authorities said he also requested “full presidential immunity” from President Donald Trump.

Posts alluded to by MCSO have since been taken down or deleted, but numerous others on his page depict Valadez’s belief that Sheridan was compromised by cartels.

Valadez previously made posts threatening Trump as well, including one on June 1 that read: “Today is the day that marks the beginning of your death Donald.”

MCSO said its Threat Management Unit located and arrested Valadez in the same day on charges that included use of an electric device to threaten.

“The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office enforces the rule of law without exception and will not tolerate threats or violence against elected officials, delivering swift and decisive consequences to anyone who attempts to intimidate this agency or its personnel,” MCSO said in a statement.

KTAR News 92.3 FM has asked if MCSO will charge Valadez for threats against Trump in addition to Sheridan, but has not yet received a response.

Jose Angel Valadez is probably in the wrong tax bracket to purchase a pardon from Dozy Donnie.

So much for the First Amendment. I guess you had no problem giving your guy in the Oval Office a pass when he called for the hanging of certain individuals, right!
