4 men injured after argument turns into shooting in west Phoenix, police say

Four men were hospitalized after an argument escalated into a shooting early Saturday morning in west Phoenix, authorities said.

Officers responded to a business in the area of 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 1:30 a.m. after troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety heard rapid gunfire, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the men, whose ages range from 18 to 20, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The Phoenix Fire Department took the men to a nearby hospital. Police said that one of them had life-threatening injuries while the other three had non-life-threatening ones.

Detectives are investigating how each of the men were involved and whether any of them were bystanders.
