The GEN1 office building located in Goodyear’s GSQ downtown district reached full leasing capacity earlier this month, the city announced.
The building is owned by Globe Corporation, which also developed it, and leased by CBRE.
The mix of tenants at the office span a number of industries, including education, healthcare, financial services, real estate, engineering and flexible workspace.
“This marks a significant milestone in our vision of innovation, collaboration and economic growth,” Mayor Joe Pizzillo said in a news release. “We extend our welcome to the businesses at GEN1 and look forward to their continued success in Goodyear.”
Some of GEN1’s major tenants are Spaces, Avila University Arizona and American Vision Partners. The co-working space company occupies 22,000 square feet and the school utilizes 17,000 square feet.
Other businesses that lease space at the office building include:
- American Wealth Advisers
- Raymond James
- Edward Jones
- Bell Bank Mortgage
- Farm Bureau Insurance
- Great American Title Agency
- WFG National Title
- Navi Title
- KB Homes
- Roman Empire
- Mellon & Sons
- BPR Construction
- Dibble Engineers
- Realty One
The office building being fully occupied aligns with GSQ’s masterplan to be a mixed-use development that is walkable and has office, healthcare, education and lifestyle amenities.
“Seeing such a strong mix of businesses at GEN1 is a testament to the appeal of this state-of-the-art building and the continued growth of Goodyear,” Globe Corporation Co-CEO George Getz said.
