An Arizona teen was arrested Thursday after he allegedly uploaded child sexual abuse material to an artificial intelligence platform, authorities said.
The Lake Havasu City Police Department identified the teen as 18-year-old Tyberius Sass. He was booked into jail on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
LHCPD began investigating the incident after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children determined the activity occurred in the department’s jurisdiction.
Authorities conducted search warrants on multiple social media and online communications platforms, which led them to Sass.
The teen is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
