PHOENIX – An intruder cut two men during a home invasion early Monday before escaping through a window, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers responded to an apartment near 67th Avenue and McDowell Road just before 4 a.m. When they arrived, they found two adult men with cuts, but no suspect.
What we know about the home invasion
A woman inside the apartment first reported an unknown man inside her home. When the two men who were also inside the home attempted to hold the intruder, he cut both of them before escaping through a window.
Both men declined medical treatment, according to police.
Officers searched the area and circulated information in an attempt to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful, said police.
Additional details remain part of an ongoing investigation, police said.
