Kura Revolving Sushi joins growing lineup at Goodyear’s GSQ development

PHOENIX — Kura Revolving Sushi Bar recently opened its fourth Arizona restaurant and first in the West Valley.

The new sushi spot opened Friday within Goodyear’s GSQ development at Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road.

Kura’s other Arizona locations are in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Chandler.

The restaurant features a technology-driven service approach. Diners can pick items off a conveyor belt that runs past all tables or submit orders to be delivered directly to their tables by a separate belt. Additionally, a robot brings drinks out to guests.

The menu features a variety of sushi, rolls, ramen, desserts and other Japanese dishes.

Kura is latest addition Goodyear’s GSQ development

“Kura Sushi brings a unique dining experience to GSQ and adds to the mix of restaurants opening in our downtown,” Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo said in a press release. “As GSQ continues to grow, each new business gives residents, workers and visitors even more reasons to gather and enjoy the heart of our city.”

Kura joins a lineup at the downtown Goodyear development that already includes Trader Joe’s, First Watch, Dave’s Hot Chicken, High Tide Seafood, Over Easy and Bacchus Wine & Debauchery.

Future tenants include Nordstrom Rack, Fogo de Chão, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Black Rock Coffee Bar, CAVA and California Fish Grill.
