Here’s where to watch out for Valley freeway construction this weekend
Valley motorists should watch out for restrictions in two areas this weekend as construction crews keep busy on freeway projects.

PHOENIX – Valley motorists should watch out for restrictions in two areas this weekend as construction crews keep busy on freeway projects.
In Gilbert, the eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway will be closed at Val Vista Drive from 6 p.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory for March 6-9.
This weekend, only one major closure to be aware of:

The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Cooper, Gilbert and Lindsay roads will also be closed for work on an ongoing widening project on the East Valley freeway.
Additionally, Lindsay Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Eastbound Loop 202 traffic can detour along the Val Vista Drive exit and entry ramps during the mainline closure.
Where else is their freeway construction this weekend
The other spot to watch is in the northwest Valley, where construction continues on a Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway widening project.
The exit ramps at 75th Avenue in both directions will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday. Both directions of 75th Avenue will also be closed at Loop 101.
